Download & Order OphthoBook!

You can order the printed version of OphthoBook at Amazon  here. Please buy the printed version if able … the royalties from book sales allow me to keep the website going and allows donations to needy students.

Download Chapters:
To download individual chapters, go to each of the chapter pages (see ‘chapters”) and download the pdf directly from that page.

Download Entire Book
Here is the link to download the entire book (23megs). Right-click on the link and choose a destination on your harddrive to save the pdf file.

OphthoBook_1.0.pdf (23 megs)

If you are using an iPad, you can also open the book from the link, then “open within iBooks” to save the pdf file for offline viewing.

Updated Version
I’m working on an update for OphthoBook … which should come out in a few months.  The book is starting to look a little dated (especially when compared to my newer RootEyeDictionary).  The cartoons in particular need to be refreshed and redrawn.  Fortunately, the pdf is free … so you’re getting what you paid for!

Hi Dr Tim – your book is fantastic! I’m a 4th year naturopathy student in Australia and love it. I can’t afford to buy the printed book (postage to australia is prohibitive), but is there a way I can make a donation in return for the version I downloaded?

Thanks again :)

Thank you so much for making this, Dr. Root. You made the material very approachable and I enjoyed the illustrations as well.

Just want to point out a small typo:

– Question 12 on p148, you state that the answer is increased ICP, but that “the correct answer is (c).” Increased ICP is answer (d).
