Question: What’s the difference between a corneal abrasion and an ulcer?
Answer: A corneal abrasion is when the epithelium is rubbed off the surface of the eye. An “ulcer” is an abrasion that is infected.

corneal abrasion can have infection also … corneal abrasion has a deeper corneal layer involvement that may leak…
