The more I learn about catarats surgery, the least I know.Is this omitted on purpose?

I was looking for catarat information, like can one see the catarats? I was thinking of hard lenses replacement.
Is there someone doing catarat surgery (paid with the Province insurance)in my area? This is in the tri-cities of BC; Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, and Port Moody
